I recently learned that while most of us have some part of our identity that is not privileged, most of us also have another part of our identity that IS privileged.
And folks can value & devalue aspects of their own identity.
For me, I am a male and that I believe is often a privileged part of our society. I admit that I sometimes take that for granted -- but appreciate what I've learned recently to remind myself of this inborn "privilege."
